FRTLUBE is proud to announce that its FG100 food grade grease has obtained NSF H1 certification (NSF Registration No. 148742) . The passing of NSF H1 certification enables our company to continue to lead the safety and performance standards of food grade lubricants in the food processing industry . The certification of FG100 is a reflection of our commitment to innovation and excellence, ensuring that customers can trust our products in terms of food safety and environmental protection.

FRTLUBE FG100 High temp Bearing Grease is a clean, non-toxic food-grade PFPE grease based on food-grade PFEP oil . It is specially developed for the lubrication of bearings operating under extremely high temperatures and heavy loads. It is suitable for scenarios where incidental contact with food may occur.
It has the following key features:

1.High temperature stability: Even under extreme high temperature conditions (operating temperature: -40~240℃) , FG100 can maintain reliable lubrication performance, ensuring stable operation of equipment in harsh environments.
2.Chemical stability: Its chemical inertness prevents degradation, prolongs the service life of the grease and maintains performance consistency. It effectively reduces the number of times the equipment needs to be regreased, thereby reducing downtime and improving production efficiency.
3.PTFE Additive: The addition of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) enhances the non-stick and anti-friction properties of FG100, reduces equipment wear and improves energy efficiency.
4.NSF H1 Compliance: FG100 PFPE is registered with the NSF Non-Food Compounds Guide and meets the NSF H1 standard for lubricants that may come into contact with food in food processing environments.
These features make FG100 ideal for a wide range of machinery and equipment in the food industry, from production lines to packaging equipment, providing superior protection and efficiency.

On PTFE and PFAS

It is important to note that PTFE technically belongs to the PFAS family because it is a fluorinated polymer. However, research suggests that PTFE used in food-grade lubricants may be permitted due to its chemical inertness and the fact that its production process does not involve specific hazardous PFAS (such as PFOA).

For example, Nye Lubricants offers Nsf H1 Lubricants containing PTFE, indicating compliance with regulatory requirements. Additionally, Fluorotec notes that PTFE produced via suspension polymerization does not have other PFAS added and may therefore not be subject to certain PFAS restrictions.

In addition, NSF 537 certification may focus on testing 430 substances of concern listed by the US EPA, and PTFE as a polymer may not be on this list. The PTFE formula of our FG100 has been optimized to meet NSF's PFAS-free requirements, ensuring its safety and compliance .
